This is how it all began…..

I have in recent years discovered baking and found it to be very therapeutic. In order to make my cakes more presentable, I signed up for Wilton’s cake decorating course in November 2006. It was then that I discovered that cake decorating can be even more therapeutic. Can’t think of one single word that can describe the joy, satisfaction, fulfilment, etc, etc that I felt upon completing the course! See the results with your own eyes:)

In addition to decorating cakes, I’ve also made new friends i.e. those outside the investment banking world. It’s really been a fun time knowing and sharing with them (more often than not, they are the ones giving as I'm still very new to this hobby.

While I am still having my break, I hope to bake and decorate more cakes and learn more so that I can have more to share. So join me in my journey to explore the sweet and pretty world!
