When I first saw this checker board cake pan for sale at ICCA, I was very curious to know how the cake was actually made. Though the pan was expensive, I bought it nonetheless. That was about a year ago.
It was only recently that I finally used the pan. Well, the set consist of 3 9inch pans together with 1 batter dividing ring. It is the dividing ring that separates the colour in the pans. As only 1 dividing ring is provided, I find quite messy to clean and dry it before it can be used for the next pan. If only there were 3 dividing rings, life would be so much easier... :)
One day, when I'm more skillful in using the pan, I can bake the cake in other colours. Maybe, red and green...... just like the colours of Christmas.... or some other colour. Will put it up when it's done.
