This fruit flan was made for LC’s 35th birthday in September. It’s a sponge cake layered with custard and topped with jelly and fruits. Fruits like peaches, kiwi, lychees, cherries, strawberries, melons, etc can be used. The cake tastes best when served cold.
I got this recipe in the packet of self raising flour which is easily available in all hypermarkets. This recipe never fails. Have not made this for a long long time and yet it turns out really well. And the most important thing is……….. the birthday girl loves it!
